the Architect Show 2025 has come to an end, reaffirming its position as one of the most meaningful meeting points for architecture and design in Greece. Beyond its commercial scope and strong visitor turnout, this year’s edition highlighted something more substantial: the growing importance of curated content, editorial perspective, and international dialogue in shaping a contemporary architectural ecosystem.
Within this context, the presence of the DAAily Platforms, ArchDaily, Architonic, and Designboom, once again played a central role in the talks program and parallel activities of the show. Through carefully curated sessions and international voices, the platforms acted as a bridge between the Greek architectural scene and global conversations around design, sustainability, and the ways architecture responds to today’s social and urban challenges.

Editorial Curation by the DAAily Platforms
The Editors-in-Chief of the DAAily Platforms actively contributed to shaping the content of the tAS Talks, bringing forward themes that moved beyond the traditional presentation of projects and focused instead on the ideas, values, and processes behind architectural practice.
Drawing on their international experience and continuous engagement with architectural production worldwide, Christelle Harrouk (ArchDaily), Sofia Lekka Angelopoulou (Designboom), and Simon Keane-Cowell (Architonic) helped curate a programme addressing key topics such as sustainability, contemporary urbanism, technological innovation, and architecture for hospitality.

Building of the Year Session
by ArchDaily
A standout moment of the programme was the Building of the Year Session by ArchDaily, moderated by Christelle Harrouk. The session presented five Greek projects that received recognition at the Building of the Year Awards, highlighting the international visibility and growing influence of contemporary Greek architecture:
• Piraeus Tower – PILA STUDIO
• Pergola House – Entopos Architecture
• Three Object Apartment – DeMachinas
• Corfu House – Georgios Apostolopoulos Architects
• THYTA House – LASSA Architects
Rather than functioning solely as a project showcase, the session offered insight into the momentum Greek architecture has gained internationally, through work that successfully balances local identity with global relevance.

BOTY Installation
Complementing the talks program, ArchDaily’s annual BOTY Installation at the Architect Show provided a spatial overview of projects that stood out globally through the Building of the Year Awards voting process. The installation allowed visitors to engage with diverse architectural approaches, geographies, and design philosophies within a single exhibition space, reinforcing the global scope of contemporary architectural discourse.

Five Years of ArchDaily × the Architect Show
the Architect Show 2025 also marked five years of collaboration between ArchDaily and the Architect Show. Celebrated through a dedicated event during the exhibition, this milestone highlighted the significance of the partnership, not as a simple collaboration, but as a consistent channel connecting the Greek architectural community with ArchDaily’s international audience.
Over time, this relationship has evolved into a platform for dialogue, visibility, and exchange, contributing to the international positioning of Greek architecture while fostering meaningful conversations within the local scene.
