Printing the future of interior design

KERAMIK, the innovative and up-and-coming design studio specializing in ceramic 3D printing, participated and showcased its variety of products for the first time at Clerkenwell Design Week UK’s design festival (23-25th May 2023) that celebrates unique design, innovation and creativity. The company introduced a line of furniture, lighting and decorative items made out of clay and porcelain with the aid of 3D printing technology.
After almost a year in R&D and prototyping, KERAMIK unveiled for the first time outside of its local borders, a variety of 3d printed FF&E items, table and pendant lights, porcelain installations, decorative vases and artistic ceramic tiles.

About KERAMIK
Based in Thessaloniki Greece, KERAMIK designs and produces through state of the art additive manufacturing and 3D technologies, eco-friendly, innovative and functional products made from clay.
Inspired by architecture, natural patterns and futuristic shapes each piece is meticulously crafted with precision using the latest 3D printing techniques resulting in one-of-a-kind pieces that seamlessly blend form and function. The high quality ceramic material used provides a durable and high-quality finish, ensuring that each piece is built to last.
In addition to durability and functionality, KERAMIK’s 3D printed objects have been designed with sustainability in mind. Ceramic materials are known for their sustainable attributes and the 3D printing process heightens these by minimizing waste in production and reducing the environmental impact typically associated with traditional manufacturing methods.

It’s amazing how a raw and natural ingredient like clay can transform its essence into something digitized that lasts over time. Ceramic objects have always been a large part of our daily lives, for thousands of years, and clay has been used to create and sculpt both practical and durable objects. With 3D design and printing one can achieve complex geometries that would be impossible to create with traditional ceramic techniques.
